The ACT and SAT are very important college entrance tests. We encourage our students to take the ACT at the end of their junior year, summer of their junior year or fall of their senior year. Please visit the appropriate testing website for registration and testing dates.

Registration for the ACT or SAT requires our school CEEB code 362-447

Every year, the question of how to prepare for these tests always arises. Both the ACT and the SAT state that the best preparation for is a solid curriculum in the first three years of high school. However, students who wish to further prepare, Peterson’s offers (for a fee) an online test preparation course that can be accessed at www.petersons.com/testprepchannel. Local libraries also have reputable test review books. ACT distributes free practice test booklets that are available in the guidance office.
Test preparation workshops are also a wonderful way to prepare and become more acquainted with the test. We will make you aware of test preparation courses held locally as we become aware of them.

If you need assistance with the photo ID that is now required, the guidance office can assist you with this detail. Also, please be advised that some schools now require the optional Writing test that is now offered by ACT.
