Madison Christian School conducts a Fall Fundraiser during October to raise funds toward future program goals and capital improvements. The elementary students/families have the opportunity to sell cookie dough, pop corn, chocolates, magazines, and assorted personal or home items. Simultaneously, the Jr/Sr High students/families will be selling family oriented discount coupon books. This year’s Fall Fundraiser is scheduled for October 7 – 21, 2015.
Spring Walk-a-thon / Serv-a-thon
Every spring, MCS conducts an “A-Thon” fundraiser, which is a critical component of our school funding plan to first cover the costs of supplies and expenses while conducting various “outreach ministries,” and secondly adding additional funds toward our future program and capital improvements. The purposes of these activities are to reach out into our local community by showing “the love of Jesus” through support, good will and honor.
Walk-a-thon involves grades K – 6 as a support outreach designed to help with future school program and capital improvements. Walking occurs during the regular PE classes when weather permits.
Shar-a-thon involves grades 7–9 as an honor outreach to more than 350 senior adults & shut-ins residing in the Groveport area. Students will create personal greeting packets, which will be delivered to homes, and senior housing facilities honoring our community senior adults.
Serv-a-thon involves grades 10-12 who will provide good will outreach to our local community through cleaning, grooming, and mulching landscape areas and walkways.
During our “A-Thons,” currently slated for the first week in May, families provide sponsors names and addresses for the mailing of support letters to potential donors.
